A new species Scytalidium multiseptatum isolated from cysts of Globodera rostochiensis Woll. (potato cyst nematode) collected in South Bohemia is described and illustrated. A morphological comparison with other species of this genus is added. The fungus appears to be a potential pathogenic invader in agricultural soils, potentially contributing to nematode suppression.
