The first record of Aleuria rhenana Fuck. in Czechoslovakia is reported from northern Slovakia. The apothecia were densely clustered, orange, and cupulate. Detailed morphological and anatomical descriptions are given, including spore ornamentation observed by light and electron microscopy.
