The author has observed a mass occurrence of the anthrakophilic species Coprinus angulatus Peck (C. boudieri Quél.) from section Setulosi on burnt patches resulting from the burning of logging residues of pine forest. A description of fruiting bodies in all developmental stages and notes on the ecology of this relatively rare species are given, based on the author’s own observations.
