Abstract

The author reports 12 species of myxomycetes developed in moist chamber cultures on bark, twigs, and leaves from various localities in Bohemia and Moravia. Five species are new for Czechoslovakia: Comatricha acanthodes, C. fimbriata, Echinostelium minutum, Macbrideola cornea, and Perichaena minor. The method is useful for revealing rare or previously unknown slime molds and fungi.
