In a spruce forest near Loučky, western Bohemia, the author found a single mature fruiting body of a Tricholoma species that could not be identified with any known taxa. It is described as a new species: Tricholoma vaccinoides Pilát. It differs from Tricholoma vaccinum by non-reddening flesh, solid stipe, and small, perfectly globose spores.
