The author describes and illustrates fruit bodies of Leccinum rotundifoliae (Sing.) A.H. Smith, Thiers et Watling, collected under Betula nana near Varangerfjord, northern Norway. He requests that Czech mycologists send him all collections of Leccinum species found under Betula nana for comparison, as this dwarf birch-associated species has not yet been recorded in Czechoslovakia.
