Cultures of Suillus variegatus were exposed to gamma radiation for varying durations. Growth was temporarily inhibited and morphological changes in the aerial mycelium were observed. After transfer to normal conditions, growth partially resumed. The effect was not maintained after reinoculation. The reliable reproduction period was three times longer than for control cultures.
