Psathyrella silvestris (Gill.) Moser was collected in the Máslovická valley near Libčice nad Vltavou. The single fruitbody grew on decayed poplar wood. A detailed macroscopic and microscopic description is provided. The report is part of a new series for brief notes on rare fungi findings in Czechoslovakia.
