Abstract

The albino variety of Verpa bohemica with pale ochraceous cap is described as Verpa bohemica var. pallida var. nov., based on specimens collected by Jan Kymla on April 12, 1967, in a broadleaf forest (Beckov preserve) near Klíčany and Bašť, east of Prague. Diagnostic features include light coloration and detailed micromorphology.
