Phaeolus croceus (Pers. ex Fr.) Pat. - A New Polypore for Czechoslovakia.

Abstract

The author reports the first records of Phaeolus croceus (Pers. ex Fr.) Pat. in Czechoslovakia, beginning in 1958 on Quercus robur and later on Castanea sativa. The morphology, biology, and distribution of this polypore are described, with references to additional collections.
