A single fruiting body of Leucopaxillus alboalutaceus (Möller) Möller was found by the author's wife in a dense spruce forest near Zruč nad Sázavou. This fungus is clearly different from L. amarus (Fr.) Kühner, with which it is sometimes considered conspecific. The Czech specimen agrees well with the description by F.H. Möller (1954).
