SVRČEK M. (1987): The European genera of the family Hyaloscyphaceae (Helotiales). Česká Mykologie 41(4): 193-206 (published: 12th November, 1987)
abstract
A dichotomous key of 50 European genera of the family Hyaloscyphaceae compiled on material coming mostly from Czechoslovakia, where 43 genera and about 150 species of this family are known. The key is based on macroscopic and microscopic features and includes taxonomic notes for each genus.
KOUKOL O., PALICE Z. (2025): The first record of Aphanodesmium gabretae (Helotiales, Leotiomycetes) on natural substrate reveals a contrasting distribution of its two genotypes. [anamorphic ascomycete, Picea abies, GlobalFungi, geographical range, phenotype.] Czech Mycology 77(1): 101-108 (published: 27th June, 2025)
abstract
A short report is given on the first find of the poorly known species Aphanodesmium gabretae. This sporodochial anamorphic ascomycete was previously only known as an endophytic isolate from a spruce needle. The newly obtained collection originated from bark of a living spruce twig. Both specimens have an identical morphology, but comparison of their rDNA showed polymorphism. Thanks to the GlobalFungi database, we have been able to demonstrate a contrasting geographical distribution of the two genotypes differing in the rDNA cistron.
SVRČEK M. (1986): New or less known Discomycetes. XIV. Česká Mykologie 40(4): 203-217 (published: 7th November, 1986)
abstract
Two new genera, Calyptellopsis (typified by Hyaloscypha reticulata) and Incrupilella (typified by I. flexipila sp. nov.), are described along with ten new species of discomycetes and six new combinations. These fungi exhibit unique morphological features such as conspicuously reticulate discs or piliform hairs on apothecia, and their ecology spans from buried twigs to forest litter.
