ŠANDOVÁ M. (2018): On the identity of Lachnum winteri (Ascomycota, Helotiales) [lachnoid fungi, Albotricha, type study, lectotypification, taxonomy] Czech Mycology 70(2): 169-183 (published: 10th December, 2018)
abstract
Syntypes of Lachnum winteri (specimens of the exsiccatae collection Rehm, Ascomyceten, No. 113) deposited in the herbaria S, K and M were examined. The syntypes contain the same species with short-stalked apothecia possessing whitish, pale yellow to yellow, sparsely warted and apically attenuated hairs corresponding to the genus Albotricha. The species differs from A. albotestacea not only in the colour of the apothecia and frequent presence of whitish subicular hyphae at the base of the stalks, but also in the structure of the ectal excipulum. The thinner ectal excipulum cell walls are considered to be the main character distinguishing the species from A. albotestacea. The species is regarded to be a good member of the genus Albotricha, hence the new combination A. winteri is proposed. A lectotype is designated and a description, line drawing and photographs are presented. The concept of L. winteri introduced by J. Velenovský is also discussed.
SUKOVÁ M. (2005): A revision of selected material of lignicolous species of Brunnipila, Capitotricha, Dasyscyphella and Neodasyscypha from the Czech Republic. [Bohemia, Moravia, taxonomy, nomenclature, Dasyscyphus, Lachnella brunneola var. fagicola] Czech Mycology 57(1-2): 139-172 (published: 31st August, 2005)
abstract
Selected material of lignicolous species of Brunnipila, Capitotricha, Dasyscyphella and Neodasyscypha from the Czech Republic was studied. Possible forms of Brunnipila fuscescens s.l. and their characters are outlined. The generic name Dasyscyphus (Nees) ex Gray typified by Korf using D. virgineus belongs to the synonymy of Lachnum. For its later homonym, Dasyscyphus Fuckel (nom. illeg.), the nomen novum Neodasyscypha Suková et Spooner is proposed. The replacing name Neodasyscypha was already earlier proposed by Spooner, but was published invalidly by him. The new combinations Neodasyscyphacerina (Pers.: Fr.) Spooner and Neodasyscyphasubciboria(Rodway) Spooner are published.
SVRČEK M. (1987): The European genera of the family Hyaloscyphaceae (Helotiales). Česká Mykologie 41(4): 193-206 (published: 12th November, 1987)
abstract
A dichotomous key of 50 European genera of the family Hyaloscyphaceae compiled on material coming mostly from Czechoslovakia, where 43 genera and about 150 species of this family are known. The key is based on macroscopic and microscopic features and includes taxonomic notes for each genus.
SVRČEK M. (1985): Notes on the genus Hyaloscypha (Helotiales). Česká Mykologie 39(4): 205-219 (published: 8th November, 1985)
abstract
The species described by J. Velenovský under the generic name Hyaloscypha Boud. are treated with results of the revision of types and other material preserved in PRM (National Museum in Prague), supplemented by taxonomic notes. Only 7 of 70 described species and 10 varieties belong to Hyaloscypha sensu Nannfeldt, 16 belong to other genera, 29 are synonyms, and the rest are doubtful or missing.
SVRČEK M. (1977): New or less known Discomycetes. VI. Česká Mykologie 31(4): 193-200 (published: 1977)
abstract
Three new genera of Hyaloscyphaceae (Helotiales) are described: Dematioscypha, Psilocistella and Ciliolarina. Five new combinations are proposed: Dematioscypha dematiicola, Psilocistella lignatilis, P. obsoleta, P. quercina and Ciliolarina laricina. The description of Hyaloscypha priapi Velen., based on the type collections preserved in PRM, is added. The record about the finding of amyloid ectal excipulum and hairs in Hyaloscypha hyalina (Pers. ex Fr.) Boud. and Psilocistella quercina (Velen.) Svr. is published.
SVRČEK M. (1976): New or less known Discomycetes. III. Česká Mykologie 30(1): 8-16 (published: 1976)
abstract
Eight new species and one new genus are described including Dennisiodiscus (= Trichodiscus Kirschst. 1924, non Welsdorf 1912), Chaetonaevia petasitidis, Dasyscyphus sesleriae, Laetinaevia fagicola, Microscypha monticola, Mollisia gabretae, Perrotia sharmae, Phaeohelotium rubropurpurascens and Lambertella carpatica. Eight new combinations are proposed.
SVRČEK M. (1967): Species novae Discomycetum (Helotiales) e montibus Belanské Tatry, Slovakiae. Česká Mykologie 21(3): 146-150 (published: 1967)
abstract
Five new species of Helotiales discomycetes are described from the Belanské Tatry Mountains in Slovakia: Durella polyporicola, Haglundia sarmentorum, Microscypha lonicerae, Polydesmia herbicola, and Urceolella saxifragae. All species were collected in the valley “Kotlina Siedmich prameňov” above Tatranská Kotlina at altitudes of 1003–1800 m.
