Kotl. in Czechoslovakia. He addresses nomenclatural issues and proposes the new combination L. gentianeus (Quél.) Kotl. instead of Leucopaxillus amarus (Alb. et Schw. ex Fr.) Kuhn., arguing that Agaricus amarus (Alb. et Schw.) ex Fr. is not identical with the species under discussion.
