BOROVIČKA J. (2008): The wood-rotting bluing Psilocybe species in Central Europe - an identification key. [Strophariaceae, taxonomy, identification guide, hallucinogenic fungi, psilocybin mushrooms] Czech Mycology 60(2): 173-192 (published: 27th February, 2009)
abstract
An identification key to psychoactive bluing Psilocybe species growing on woody debris in Central Europe is presented. It is mainly based on microcharacters and includes 7 taxa (6 species and 1 variety) of the stirpes Serbica and Cyanescens (former “Psilocybe cyanescens complex“). Micro-, macroscopical, ecological and phenological characters and distribution of the taxa in Europe are presented and discussed.

KUBIČKA J. (1985): Connaissance actuelles sur la répartition de deux espèces toxiques, Psilocybe mairei et P. semilanceata, en Tchécoslovaquie. Česká Mykologie 39(1): 26-35 (published: 1985)
abstract
Psilocybe mairei and P. semilanceata are two toxic species that have been studied in Czechoslovakia since 1982. By the end of 1983, 78 localities for P. mairei and 67 for P. semilanceata were recorded based on literature, field diaries, and input from mycologists. Ecological, phenological, and additional data are included.
ŠEBEK S. (1983): Böhmischer Kahlkopf - Psilocybe bohemica. Česká Mykologie 37(3): 177-181 (published: 1983)
abstract
The mushroom known in Czechoslovakia under the names Hypholoma coprinifacies (Roll.) Herink [= Psilocybe coprinifacies (Roll.) Pouz.] or Psilocybe mairei Sing. (= Hypholoma cyanescens R. Maire) is not identical with these species and must be described as a new species. The author previously (Šebek 1975) proposed the name Psilocybe bohemica Šebek sp. n., but it was published invalidly according to the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature. Now it is validly published with a Latin diagnosis and full citation of the type.
