CHLEBICKÁ M., KONVALINKOVÁ T. (2010): Pirottaea lychnidis comb. nov. from the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, Czech Republic. [Peziza sphaerioides var. lychnidis, Pyrenopeziza lychnidis, intraspecific variability, taxonomy, nomenclature] Czech Mycology 62(1): 19-32 (published: 15th February, 2011)
abstract
A find of Pirottaea from dead stems of Silene dioica collected in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park is described. The material possesses very well developed setae, is assigned to Nannfeldt’s evolutionary lineage 2, and within the lineage differs from Pirottaea pilosissima known from stems of Geranium sylvaticum by shorter and up to 4-septate setae. Peziza sphaerioides var. lychnidis was revised and found to be conspecific with our material, but invalid. The earliest valid description of the taxon was found and a new combination is proposed. Results of a revision of several specimens of Pirottaea spp. published from the area of the Czech Republic are given.
GMINDER A. (2006): Studies in the genus Mollisia s. l. II: Revision of some species of Mollisia and Tapesia described by J. Velenovský (part 1). [Ascomycota, Helotiales, Dermateaceae, Mollisioideae, type studies] Czech Mycology 58(1-2): 125-148 (published: 10th August, 2006)
abstract
The author presents the results of his revision of several mollisiaceous species described by J. Velenovský. Some of these are seen as good species and are combined into Mollisia: M. ladae comb.nov., M. peruni comb. nov., M. phragmitis comb. nov., M. velenovskyi nom. nov. Tapesia sesleriae is seen as a nomen dubium and Mollisia sesleriae ss. Krieglsteiner (1999) is therefore described as M. lothariana spec. nov.

SVRČEK M. (1985): Notes on the genus Hyaloscypha (Helotiales). Česká Mykologie 39(4): 205-219 (published: 8th November, 1985)
abstract
The species described by J. Velenovský under the generic name Hyaloscypha Boud. are treated with results of the revision of types and other material preserved in PRM (National Museum in Prague), supplemented by taxonomic notes. Only 7 of 70 described species and 10 varieties belong to Hyaloscypha sensu Nannfeldt, 16 belong to other genera, 29 are synonyms, and the rest are doubtful or missing.
