HOLUBOVÁ-JECHOVÁ V. (1988): Studies on Hyphomycetes from Cuba VIII. A new genus Piricaudilium and some species new for the territory of Cuba.  Česká Mykologie 42(4): 200-204   (published: 16th December, 1988)
  abstract   A new genus Piricaudilium is proposed to accommodate a new distinct dematiaceous hyphomycete P. lobatum characterized by the presence of inner hyaline hyphae which fill an internal space of each conidium. Possible relationship to Piricauda Bubák is commented. Five hyphomycetes are recorded here from the territory of Cuba for the first time and two combinations Dictyochaeta parva (Hughes et Kendrick) Hol.-Jech. and Dischloridium ychaffrei (Bhat et Sutton) Hol.-Jech. are proposed.

  abstract   Sixty-eight species or varieties of lignicolous and other saprophytic Hyphomycetes belonging to 47 genera are recorded from the Isla de la Juventud (formerly Isla de Pinos). The majority of them are probably common species in subtropic or tropic regions, however, previously unreported from Cuba or adjacent islands in Caribbean area. Some infrequent or rare Hyphomycetes were also collected and 11 new species are described here.
