  abstract   The authors confirm that Rhodocybe xylophila and Omphalina lilaceorosea are conspecific with Omphalia discorosea (Pil.), described from Siberia. They propose the new combination Omphalina discorosea (Pil.) Her. et Kotl., and report new localities from Bulgaria and France. A morphological and geographical overview of the species is included.

  abstract   A new lignicolous species of the genus Omphalina Quél., characterized by the lilac-rose colour of its gills and the bright pink of its spore print, is described. The species has been placed in the new section Rhodomphalina Pouzar sect. nov.
