  abstract   Microporellus brasiliensis sp. nov. and Microporellus ellipsosporus sp. nov. are described from Brazil and Senegal, respectively. Microporellus setigerus Corner and Microporellus subincamatus Corner are shown to be a synonyms of Amauroderma schomburgkii and Perenniporia stipitata, respectively.
