  abstract   Ten new species of Discomycetes according to the material collected in Czechoslovakia are described: Arachnopeziza depauperata, Belonidium lizonii, Hymenoscyphus angustisporus, Lachnum tenuipilosum, Mollisia polytrichicola, Mollisia potentillae-erectae, Pseudombrophila fettneri, Sclerotinia atrostipitata, Unguicularia aconiti, Unguicularia iridia. One new genus Niveostoma for Dasyscypha leucostoma Rehm is proposed. Full microscopic and macroscopic descriptions are given.

PRÁŠIL K., ŠAŠEK V., URBAN Z. (1974): Isolation and cultivation of some stromatic lignicolous Pyrenomycetes. II. Diaporthales.  Česká Mykologie 28(1): 1-18   (published: 5th February, 1974)
  abstract   Eleven species of Diaporthaceae (order Diaporthales) were studied in pure culture. The development of their morphology and the influence of temperature on their growth were examined. Conidial stages were obtained for 10 species, six of them for the first time in culture. The importance of cultural studies for the taxonomy of this group of Pyrenomycetes is discussed.
