KOTLABA F., POUZAR Z. (1964): A study of Tyromyces pannocinctus (Romell) comb. nov.  Česká Mykologie 18(2): 65-76   (published: 16th April, 1964)
  abstract   The authors have thoroughly investigated Polyporus pannocinctus Romell [= Gloeoporus pannocinctus (Romell) J. Erikss. = Leptoporus zameriensis Pil. = Poria bourdotii (Pil.) Pil.] studying in detail the nomenclature, especially the substantially complicated synonymy, and discussing the ecology and general distribution of this rather rare polypore. The distribution is, however, given in greater detail for Czechoslovakia, where the fungus was not previously known and is now recorded from nine localities. The results of these detailed studies indicate that Polyporus pannocinctus Romell belongs to the genus Tyromyces P. Karst, em. Bond. et Sing., and a new combination is therefore proposed. The systematics of the heterogeneous genus Gloeoporus Mont. emend. Pilát are similarly investigated.
