  abstract   A new species, Jafneadelphus olivaceofuscus Svrček & Moravec, is described based on a collection from the Adamov area (Blansko district, Moravia). It is closely related to the Australian species Jafneadelphus asperulus. Morphological comparisons are made, and the distinction from similar genera such as Jafnea and Smardaea is discussed.
