FASSATIOVÁ O. (1967): Notes on the genus Humicola Traaen. II. Česká Mykologie 21(2): 78-89 (published: 1967)
abstract
This continuation of a previous study on the genus Humicola describes two new species: H. minima and H. brunnea, two varieties: H. fuscoatra var. longispora and H. brunnea var. africana, and one new combination. A revised diagnosis of Humicola and a key to the known species are provided.

abstract
A list of micromycetes (saprophytic, keratinophilic, rhizosphere, nematophagous, ovicidal, dermatophytes, and cellular slime moulds) isolated from various Czechoslovak soils is presented. The paper includes distribution data and literature citations for each species. It is the second installment of the series and documents a wide variety of fungi, including Chaetomium species and other frequently encountered genera.

abstract
The taxonomic concept of the genus Humicola Traaen is discussed. These soil fungi are highly cellulolytic. Problems related to species differentiation and the genus’s relationship to Monotospora toruloides Corda are mentioned. Traaen's species await thorough revision.
