  abstract   A specimen of Pistillaria todei (Fr.) Corner was collected on September 3, 1969, in Silesia by Dr. Mirko Svrček. The species had not previously been observed in Czechoslovakia. Carposomes were 2–3 mm long, white or slightly yellowish; stipe 5–8 mm long, hyaline, with short scattered hairs. Spores elongate-ellipsoid to subcylindrical.
