RÉBLOVÁ M., SVRČEK M. (1997): New records of Pyrenomycetes from the Czech and Slovak Republics II. Some rare and interesting species of the orders Dothideales and Sordariales. [New records, lignicolous Pyrenomycetes, Dothideales, Sordariales, Czech and Slovak Republics] Czech Mycology 49(3-4): 207-227 (published: 23rd May, 1997)
abstract
The paper deals with 12 lignicolous species of Pyrenomycetes; Actidium hysterioides Fr., Actidium nitidum (Cooke et Ellis) Zogg, Capronia borealis M. E. Barr, Capronia chlorospora (Ellis et Everh.) M. E. Barr, Cercophora caudata (Currey) Lundq., Farlowiella carmichaelina (Berk.) Sacc., Gloniopsis curvata (Fr.) Sacc., Mytilinidion rhenanum Fuckel, Pseudotrichia mutabilis (Pers.: Fr.) Wehm., Rebentischia massalongii (Mont.) Sacc., Trematosphaeria fissa (Fuckel) Winter and Trematosphaeria morthieri Fuckel, most of which are reported from the Czech and Slovak Republics for the first time. Species are listed with localities, descriptions, illustrations and taxonomical and ecological notes. Most of them occur rarely in both countries or have very interesting habitats. Capronia borealis and Capronia chlorospora, so far known only from the temperate zone of North America, are reported from Europe for the first time. The systematic position of these species is arranged according to Eriksson and Hawksworth (1993).
HOLM K., HOLM L. (2001): Venturia glacialis, an overlooked species. [Taxonomy, Venturia, Betula nana, Salix reticulata, S. herbacea, S. polaris] Czech Mycology 52(4): 323-327 (published: 5th March, 2001)
abstract
Venturia glacialis Lar. Vasilyeva, so far known by the type collection only, on Betula nana ssp. exilis, from the Magadan district in NE Siberia, is reported on Betula nana ssp. nana in Scandinavia. It is very similar to V. subcutanea on leaves of Salix reticulata. A Venturia sp. on leaves of Salix herbacea and S. polaris has hi the rto been classified as V. subcutanea but is slightly different and seems morphologically indistinguishable from V. glacialis.
RÉBLOVÁ M. (1996): Two new Capronia species from the Czech Republic. [Capronia perpusilla, Capronia svrcekiana, Herpotrichiellaceae, Ascomycotina] Czech Mycology 49(2): 77-83 (published: 13th October, 1996)
abstract
Two new species of Capronia, C. perpusilla and C. svrcekiana, are described from rotten wood in near natural forests in the Czech Republic. The intraspecific relationships and autecology of these species are discussed.
SVRČEK M. (1974): Pleospora rubicola H. Sydow (New records. 13.). Česká Mykologie 28(3): 179-180 (published: 1974)
abstract
The first record of Lysurus gardneri Berk. in Czechoslovakia is reported, based on a collection made on October 14, 1972 at the Černiš pond dam, 5 km northwest of České Budějovice. Initially misidentified as Anthurus archeri, later examination of photographs revealed the species to be Lysurus gardneri, a rare member of the family Clathraceae. The description is based on literature, as no fresh specimens were available. Eleven fruit bodies were found at the locality.
SVRČEK M. (1974): Acanthophiobolus chaetophorus (P. et H. Crouan) Svr. (New records. 12.). Česká Mykologie 28(3): 179 (published: 1974)

abstract
Three imperfect fungi of the genus Fusicladium (Hyphomycetes) occurring on poplar (Populus) and willow (Salix) are described. These species, forming conidia in chains, were previously misidentified as young stages of other taxa. The study is a continuation of previous work and is based on herbarium revisions from European and North American collections.
