ZOUHAR M., DOUDA O., NOVOTNÝ D., NOVÁKOVÁ J., MAZÁKOVÁ J. (2010): Evaluation of the pathogenicity of selected nematophagous fungi. [nematophagous fungi, nematodes, pathogenicity, Arthrobotrys, Dactylellina, Dactylella, Pochonia, Ditylenchus dipsaci, Globodera rostochiensis, Meloidogyne hapla] Czech Mycology 61(2): 139-147 (published: 10th August, 2010)
abstract
The virulence of selected strains of six nematophagous fungi on three species of phytopathogenic nematodes was evaluated, whereby differences in pathogenicity between the investigated fungal taxa were found. Arthrobotrys oligospora was the most pathogenic fungus to all three tested species of nematodes.
ANTONÍN V., VÁGNER A. (2000): Type specimens of fungi preserved in the Herbarium of the Moravian Museum in Brno, Czech Republic (BRNM). [type specimens, herbarium, Moravian museum, Brno] Czech Mycology 52(1): 51-68 (published: 21st January, 2000)
abstract
A list of type specimens of fungi preserved in the herbarium of the Moravian Museum in Brno, Czech Republic containing 351 items is published.
ONDŘEJ M. (1996): Seven little known species of the genus Alternaria. [Alternaria spp., A. caricina spec, nov., Czech Republic, taxonomy] Czech Mycology 49(2): 119-127 (published: 13th October, 1996)
abstract
The occurrence of seven little known Alternaria species (Fungi Imperfecti, Hyphomycetes, Dematiaciace) collected in they ears 1969 to 1994 in the Czech Republic is reported and their morphological characteristics presented. They cover two species described by the author, A. calendulae (Ondřej 1974) and A. thalictrina (Ondřej 1974), a new combination: A. anthyllidis (Baudyš) Ondřej comb. nov. and three hitherto unknown species to the Czech Republic: (A. helianthinficiens Simmons, A. leucanthemi Nelen, and A. infectoria Simmons). A new species A. caricina Ondřej spec, nov., is described from leaves of Carex brizoides L. Additional taxonomical characters (size of conidial scars) are given for each species.

ŘEPOVÁ A. (1989): Soil micromycetes from Czechoslovakia - a list of isolated species with bibliography. II. Česká Mykologie 43(4): 235-243 (published: 17th November, 1989)
abstract
A list of micromycetes (saprophytic, keratinophilic, rhizosphere, nematophagous, ovicidal, dermatophytes, and cellular slime moulds) isolated from various Czechoslovak soils is presented. The paper includes distribution data and literature citations for each species. It is the second installment of the series and documents a wide variety of fungi, including Chaetomium species and other frequently encountered genera.
HOLUBOVÁ-JECHOVÁ V. (1976): Haplotrichum Link instead of Oidium Link, a necessary nomenclatural change. Česká Mykologie 30(1): 3-4 (published: 1976)
abstract
After the conservation of the generic name Oidium for conidial states of the representatives of the Erysiphaceae, the correct name for lignicolous Hyphomycetes — conidial states of Botryobasidium Dank — is Haplotrichum Link; Fr. Twenty new combinations and one new name are proposed under this generic name.
JANITOR A. (1975): Effect of ultraviolet radiation on the germination of conidia and the growth of the fungus Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei Marchal in course of its ontogenic development. Česká Mykologie 29(1): 35-45 (published: 1975)
abstract
The effect of UV radiation on the germination of conidia and the growth of Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei on barley was studied. UV radiation affected fungal vitality and reproduction capacity depending on the development stage. The most sensitive phase to radiation was identified, showing significant physiological impact during the asexual cycle of this common parasite.
ONDŘEJ M. (1971): Fungi of the genus Fusicladium Bonorden, developing conidia in chains (Hyphomycetes, Fungi imperfecti). Česká Mykologie 25(3): 165-172 (published: 1971)
abstract
Rare species of the genus Fusicladium collected in Moravia are described, including two new species: F. virgaureae Ondřej spec. nov. and F. convolvularum Ondřej spec. nov. Morphological revisions of previously known species are also presented. This study updates the taxonomy and geographic distribution of the group in Czechoslovakia.
POUZAR Z., JECHOVÁ V. (1967): Botryobasidium robustior spec. nov., a perfect state of Oidium rubiginosum (Fr.) linder. Česká Mykologie 21(2): 69-73 (published: 1967)
abstract
The authors describe a new species Botryobasidium robustior, which is the perfect state of Oidium rubiginosum. It was collected in a forest near Mělník, Bohemia, and is similar to B. aureum and B. candicans.
