NOVOTNÝ J. (1977): Isolation of fungus Phialophora radicicola. Česká Mykologie 31(3): 170-172 (published: 1977)
abstract
Mode of isolation and occurrence of fungus Phialophora radicicola are reported from roots of grasslands in 6 localities in the southern part of the Brno-venkov district. Simultaneously a note is given about common cultivation of P. radicicola and Ophiobolus graminis Sacc. on agar medium, where the fungi do not grow into the territory occupied by the other. The isolates of P. radicicola were only slightly pathogenic to wheat and did not cause root rot.
