Česká Mykologie 33(4): 225-228 (published: 1979) abstract In Switzerland the apparently rare discomycete Helotium geogenum Cooke was found. It was synonymized with Helotium longisporum Schweers on the basis of type material and transferred to the genus Phaeohelotium because of the structure of its ectal excipulum.
