KUBÁT K. (1975): Polyporus rhizophilus Pat. im Böhmischen Mittelgebirde. Česká Mykologie 29(3): 167-170 (published: 1975)
abstract
Polyporus rhizophilus is reported from eight localities in the České středohoří hills (NW Bohemia), mostly in steppe grasslands dominated by Stipa capillata. This species is considered a rare steppe polypore with a disjunct Central European distribution. Details on its habitat and associated vegetation are given.

The article lists new localities of Geastrum hungaricum, G. minimum, G. pouzarii, G. recolligens, G. striatum, G. triplex, Lycoperdon echinatum, Mutinus caninus, and Tulostoma fimbriatum in the Bohemian Central Highlands and lower Ohře region, with brief notes on their ecology.
