The author reports the occurrence of two species of the genus Centrospora Neerg. (Fungi imperfecti, Hyphomycetes) in Czechoslovakia. A new combination is proposed: Centrospora veratri (Peck) Ondřej. Centrospora was previously considered monotypic, but recent research has expanded the genus. The paper also discusses confusion with similar genera and lists historic records from the region.
