abstract
Octospora wrightii (Berk. et Curt.) J. Moravec is recorded for the first time in Czechoslovakia. Two collections are reported—from the Belianske Tatry (Slovakia) and Moravia—on mosses in Syntrichietum pulvinate association. Detailed morphological description of the apothecia, asci, and ornamented ascospores is provided.
